Seasonal Preparation
Seasonal preparation ensures that all your established plants and shrubs are protected and given the best opportunity to survive and thrive from year to year. This includes mulching and feeding the soil to provide a healthy medium for plants to mature and develop.

Planting
Careful planning and preparation to plant shrubs, annuals
or perennials in beds and borders will fill your garden with colourful flowers and attractive foliage to admire in all seasons

Pruning
Regular Pruning of dead and damaged wood from shrubs will encourage new, healthy growth and increase flower and fruit production

Potting
Potting plants and bulbs in containers or window boxes is very versatile and can a wonderful display to areas that have no soil.

Lawn Care
Like plants, a lawn needs to be maintained by Removing Weeds, regular Mowing, Edging, De-mossing, Aerating and Feeding.
A poorly maintained lawn can visually spoil the most beautifully planted flower beds.

Weeding
Unsightly weeds can quickly over-run a garden, remove nutrients from the soil and stop flowers and shrubs from developing to their potential.
Where possible, all weeding will be done manualy

Leaf Cleaning

In Autumn, leaf litter is a source of free organic matter but not all plants appreciate them being left in situ.
Doing so can cause mildew, fungus and destroy lawns. It is best to clear leaves and compost them for future use.
Planting for Nature
I like to encourage my clients to leave one small area of their garden for Nature. whether it’s planting wildflowers, adding a bee box, a bird box or planting just one shrub that will encourage pollinating insects.
It’s easy, it’s cheap and most of all, its immensely rewarding to watch the wildlife visit your garden on a regular basis.

General Tidy up

From time to time, all gardens will benefit from a General Tidy-up including weeding, mowing, hedge trimming, clearing and cleaning greenhouses and sheds.
